Day 16 - Your views on mainstream music
First, let’s take a look at the word “mainstream” itself:
main stream
|ˈmānˌstrēm|noun
(the mainstream)the ideas, attitudes, or activities that are regarded as normal or conventional; the dominant trend in opinion, fashion, or the arts :

Pawel Malon: Visualizing Creativity: simple... →
pmalon:
I have finally managed to read “How I Use Visualization To Drive Creativity” by Mark Suster on TechCrunch. It’s a very long article and I was really looking for the right time to read it and process it. And I must say that it’s brilliant. I’ve been following Mark Suster on twitter (@msuster)…

Day 14 - Your earliest memory
Through the darkness, a white fluorescent light beaming. A first breath, oxygen—my own experience for the for the first time. Existence is mine at last.
Something is removed from my navel. I am cut loose. I scream; I wail.
This is the way I am. I am in the world. I am.
I had the purest of thoughts, be that none at all.
A prick on the toe. A toe print...

Day 13 - Somewhere you’d like to move or visit.
Aside from the semi-tentative Rome trip this Summer, I’d like to visit my homeland for a few months. That’s right, the Philippines.
I’ve never been there, ever, and I think it’s of the utmost importance to understand your roots, culture, and history. Heritage is a rich part of who you are, and I feel as if...

Day 12 - Bullet your whole day
8:15 AM, Woke up
Heard that someone else was in the bathroom.
Lied awake, took out my iPod, creeped around Ping to see what Sondre Lerche has posted up music-wise lately.
Listened to previews of Lia Ices’ album “Grown Unknown” because I saw that he bought it.
Got up, made my way to the bathroom. Told my housemate that he was a princess...
When you take the blaque out of the soul music, you take out the soul. Vote ‘NO’ on acoustic covers of songs that need soul, kids.

Day 10 - Discuss your first love and first kiss
If I were to explain to you the physics of a falling star, I might dampen the magic. :)

Day 9 - How you hope your future will be like
At the moment, I’d like to hope about my near future. In this near future, I’d like to be walking out of my apartment at Medaglie D’Oro on a Saturday evening, making me way over to the Trevi fountain (seen above) as I take a break from studying stress, strain, torsion, shear and bending.

Everything inside me is changing. Three-hundred and fifty degrees of heat, and I feel everything unraveling. There’s nowhere to go, I’m trapped.
Parts of me are black now; parts of me before soft, now brittle. Pieces of me chip off and I am not the same.
Who I was, who I am now; two different things. I am not me, simply put. Me am not I.
Eyes upon me.

Day 8, 30 Day Challenge
Day 8- A moment you felt most satisfied with your life
I think there have been multiple moments where I’ve felt satisfied with my life— and more to come. These have mostly been moments where things in my head have been reduced to an amazingly simple concept, or those where I realize that from that simplicity, there’s a limitless pool of knowledge left to discover. These...

Day 7- Your zodiac sign and how you think it fits your personality
First things first, I don’t think astrological signs are valid for describing a person because they are way too general. But for the sake of fun, let’s take a look.
My sign is Libra, or the scales. Apparently, Libras are supposed to be diplomatic/urbane, romantic and charming, easygoing and sociable, idealistic and...

Day 6- 30 Interesting facts about yourself
Wow, that’s a lot. I hope I don’t get too into myself or else I’ll have to spend some time getting over myself. Here we go:
1. Since the way my name rolls off my tongue occurs oddly, I enjoy giving the cashiers at Jamba Juice/Coffee shops various names that start with a “J”. I usually go for John, as it’s easiest,...

30 Day Challenge & Super Mario
Sorry, I owe you all two days of this today. Had to skip out yesterday due to medical reasons. BUT I thought of something during all my sickness:
I’ve come to the conclusion that the Super Mario series is a sick, twisted story.
Princess Peach is a giant B. Mario is her “Italian” plumber that forces her to save her countless times, and gets basically nothing in return. Not even...
Day 5, 30 Day Challenge
Day 5- A time you thought about ending your life
In adolescence, I’ll confess that I’ve been through times where I just wanted to give up and leave it all; looking back on these times now, some were petty, and others, I can still understand what I was going through. I won’t write these out in detail, as they are very personal, sorry!
As I grew older, obviously, I learned to...

Day 4- Your views on religion
Throughout history, personal experience, and possibly trial-and-error, you may have noticed that religion has either served as a particular lifestyle that preserved peace, or the cause and means of corruption and/or war. Of course, the latter is more likely than not a cause of the bad eggs—the extremists and misinterpreters.
I remember hearing somewhere...

Day 3, 30 Day Challenge
Day 3- Your views on drugs and alcohol
Before I start, by all means, do what you want with yourselves; I’m not here to tell you what to do or be self-righteous or anything. These are a presentation of my personal views and not an attempt to shove them down your throat.
First thing is first, I really value the human mind, body, and experience. I choose not to partake in drugs or...
